From the moment our daughter was old enough to understand the concept of a wedding and a reception, she began telling us, “At MY wedding reception I want to dance, dance, dance!” The day after she became engaged, her Dad and I began the arduous task of finding the “perfect” band to fulfill our daughter’s dream of a special evening of dancing with her Prince Charming. The bar was raised pretty high, as we wanted a band with: both male and female vocalists, an extensive, diverse song list, a horn section, a professional sound, a masterful presentation and did we mention a horn section. Yes, this was very important to us! We researched over one hundred options (YES, 100!), but were completely smitten once we found The Atlanta Sound Band’s website. ASB completely met our criteria and even exceeded our expectations. Steve Wilkes was so patient and helpful in answering all of our questions, custom designing a play list for the evening and emceeing the evening’s time line of events. By the time the wedding party entered the reception, our guests had been entertained by the ASB for about forty-five minutes. Friends and family ran to greet us and rave about the band*. A combination of jazz music for cocktails and dinner segued into a livelier repertoire before beginning the party and dance music segment. They even had a disc jockey that stepped in to keep the music going when the band took a couple of brief breaks. ASB helped us create the perfect atmosphere for this special evening…and as promised, our daughter (and her husband) danced the night away with their friends and families. The dance floor was packed the entire evening and we are already brainstorming about a future gathering so we can celebrate with the Atlanta Sound Band again. Thank you for traveling to Greenville, South Carolina to be with us for a “dream come true” evening!

*By the way, the praise continued throughout the night and we are still hearing positive remarks, to date.

Can I just tell you that you were AMAZING!!! I mean, I honestly had the best night of my life, and the music was so important to Matt and I.
